Florida State received a waiver from the NCAA that allows it to host recruits at Saturday’s spring game at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando.
The Seminoles asked the NCAA if they could provide admission and allow recruits on the sideline, just as they would had the game been on campus. FSU has moved the game to Central Florida because of ongoing construction at Doak Campbell Stadium.
“I will be able to talk and interact just like I do here,” coach Jimbo Fisher said.
A room will be set up where coaches can talk to recruits and their families.
The Orlando Sentinel was first to report the story.
About 35 recruits likely will attend the game on Saturday. Here is a partial list provided by Noles247.
Florida State is reporting that more than 32,000 tickets have been sold for the game. General tickets remain available for $5 in advance and $11 day of game.
