A.J. Dillon, the No. 1 recruit in Massachusetts, has included Florida State in his final five schools.
Dillon announced his top schools on his Twitter account last week after cutting the list down from 17. FSU is joined by Michigan, Notre Dame, Virginia and Wisconsin.
The 6-1, 230-pound Dillon is from Lawrence Academy in Groton, MA.
Dillon talked about each school with 247Sports. This is what he said about FSU:
“They are one of the schools I liked for a long time growing up. The football program is known for being dominant, especially the last few years. And I’m looking forward to learning more (when I visit).”
After visiting Notre Dame on Saturday, Dillon told 247 the “everyone is about the same for the moment.” He is vising Michigan today.
Dillon is the No. 19 running back in the country according to 247Sports composite rankings. Rivals has him as the 16th best running back.
FSU has a commitment from Zaquandre White, a four-star running back from North Fort Myers, one of seven 2017 prospects already committed.
247Sports’ crystal ball gives Notre Dame a 67 percent chance of signing the four-star recruit, followed by FSU and BC at 11 percent.
